THE PROBLEM

Glass is one of the most beautiful materials on earth: durable, timeless, endlessly recyclable. Yet millions of glass bottles are discarded every year across Egypt, never given a second thought. We looked at that waste and saw something different. We saw potential.

THE IDEA

ZOJAJ was built on a single belief: that an object's value doesn't end when its original purpose does. A bottle that carried a drink can carry light, hold flowers, serve water, or become something entirely new. The only limitation is your creativity, and we are here to give it something worth imagining.

THE CRAFT

Every ZOJAJ piece is handmade in Egypt. Each bottle is collected, cleaned, and carefully transformed, cut, shaped, and finished by hand. The slight variations in texture and form are not imperfections. They are the signature of something made with care, not a machine.

OUR MISSION

We exist to prove that sustainability and beauty are not opposites. ZOJAJ is about making conscious choices feel effortless, bringing objects into your home that you feel good about owning, and that tell a story worth keeping.

THE FOUNDERS

ZOJAJ was founded by David and Youssef, two friends from Egypt with a simple idea: that glass bottles are too good to throw away. What began as a small project has become a brand built on craftsmanship, sustainability, and a genuine belief that everyday objects can be made better.
